The Case Alert Subscription System (CASS) is a court case event update service that enables users to receive email and text message updates related to cases in the trial courts of Virginia for which case information is available through OCIS 2.0. There are no fees charged to use CASS .

Virginia Court Records Lookup - VA Court Case Search
The court hears both civil and criminal cases that involved matters dealing with traffic violations and infractions. All preliminary hearings for felony cases are also heard here, with the court deciding whether or not to pass it on to the grand jury. There are no jury trials here and jurisdiction only includes civil cases with claims below $4500.

The Office of the Executive Secretary (OES) of the Supreme Court of Virginia is the administrative office for Virginia's Judicial System and provides the technology support to operate CMS.
